Extra Fees and Charges

Extra activities and field trips will be an additional charge.

There is no hourly rate for dropping children off for a few hours. You must pay the total drop-in rate.

School-age children staying at the center when school is out will have to pay an additional $15 per day+regular fees. Fees are subject to change.

Payments are due every Monday of the week. If your child does not come on Mondays, you need to pay ahead of that Friday before Monday comes. If payments are not received on Monday there will be a $5.00 late charge for each day it’s late. After 2 days you can no longer attend Little Dumplings accepts payments in the form of cash, debit, credit cards, and money orders. We do not accept checks.

Hours of Attendance

In order to better serve the public and the children in our community, we have to have a working relationship with you the parent. We feel that you will value the quality of education and care your child will arrive here in the center. But it cannot be done without you. To better serve you and your child, the following policy on absenteeism was decided

• Children here are allowed one week of free child care per every paid (1) year. This can be used as sick leave or vacation period.
• This one week free will be credited to your account only after your child hac been enrolled 1-year.
• The director has to be notified prior to the week unless circumstances are out of control to arise.
• Families with multiples are allowed only one week of free child care also unless otherwise arranges through the director.
• If parents wish to keep their child/children out of the center for a week. they will be charged for that week as if they had.
• If your child is going to be absent that day we ask that you call the center and let us know.
• Part-Time students cannot receive a free vacation week.

Medications

We may disperse medication only with written permission signed by a parent stating the date, time, and amount of medication to be given. All medication must be in the original container with the prescription label intact. Please fill out the MEDICATION DISTRIBUTION form. All medications must be left with the teacher. A sleeping child will be given medication as close to the schedule as possible. The only time medication will be given without written parents will be notified and Tylenol (or other fever-reducing medicine) will be administered with the patient’s verbal consent. The parent will be required to sign a medication release upon arrival to pick up the sick child.

Nutrition and Meals

We participate in the USDA Food Program which allows us to provide all children with nutritional breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snacks each day. Please make sure you fill out the enclosed Food Program application. we must have this application on all children who attend our center even if they think you do not qualify. For infants, we will provide Parent Choice until the age of 12 months, if you fill out the CACFP Infant form provided in your application. we will also provide baby food and other snacks for the infants and toddlers. any formula needed other than the one provided will need to be provided by the parent.

Little Dumplings is not a fully “peanut-free” environment. however, er take precautions when necessary. Please inform Little Dumplings staff regarding allergies and concerns. Parents may be asked to provide food substitutions for allergies related to food and have a note from their physician stating each allergy. Breakfast-7a-8:30a, Lunch -10:31a/11:00a/11;30p/2;30p.
